Samsung Integrates Scan QR Feature with Camera & Quick Panel for Faster & Easier Payments in India

Galaxy users can now scan and pay using the camera or Quick Panel Specially designed for Indian market, the new feature is currently live on select Galaxy devices and will soon come to more models

With camera and Scan QR integration, payments can be initiated with minimal clicks. The Scan QR feature also reduces the time invested in searching for Scan QR within the app before users can scan QR & make payments.

NFC detection worked great. StanChart of course is messed up and my digismart card still gets rejected.

I tried NFC too. For some reason OneCard wasn't getting read. Probably because it it not supported I assume.

NFC just read card data. Number name and expiry. Cvv you enter manually. It should get detected! Took a few Seconds.

Yeah, takes a few tries. It detected my idfc card just fine lol. Still annoying that StanChart is messed up. Checked settings. Everything is enabled on the card. Yet Samsung Pay tells me that bank has not authorized.

Anyone here used samsung pay on MST and paid successfully?

It is slow. I have only used it once. Took a lot of time. Place the phone near the swipe area. Enter four digits of the card. And then enter the pin. There is nothing smooth about it. Haven't seen a swipe machine in a while around my place in a long time. Everyone has upgraded to chip or NFC machines.

Samsung Pay can now fetch your COVID19 vaccination certificate from Cowin and add it to the dashboard. Pretty nice.

Samsung Pay got updated from Galaxy Store (big update about 152 MB).
It displays option to add Vaccination Certificate.
I guess its time to say Good bye to Aarogya Setu app

Need to explore what else is added after update.
