This story is set in the 1980s Mumbai..
It's about a married couple- Sharad and Kussum Abhyankar. Their love for each other is unparalleled. However, their seemingly happy existence is marred by one niggling problem- that's Kussum health. As a last resort, Sharad decides to get Ashok home to examine Kussum thus triggering events unforeseen to everyone involved.
The moment Ashok meets Kussum, he notices something is amiss....Kussum's pain is not physical..neither is it psychological.. it seems unworldly..extra-terrestrial.. Thus begins a deceptive game between three characters where they get entangled in a dangerous and heartbreaking vicious circle.
