Scam SMS in the name of Jio

In case any Jio customer get a similar sms please ignore it. Its a scam sms which has been confirmed to me by Jio on Twitter

This is also happening on Airtel. I assume also with Vodafone Idea connections.

Haven't got it on Airtel. But Dad got it on VI SIM and the message said it was from MTNL lol.

Interestingly when I tried to copy paste the sms into Twitter for posting, it didn't go thru as the site recognized it as malicious.

I have received similar msg on Airtel. Reported to airtel support on twitter (screenshot).

I received a similar sms on my airtel number. After a while, he called me asking me to update my KYC. I received the call and told him I have slow internet. So, I'll be needing time to download TeamViewer on my phone. Wasted his 30 minutes. Lol.

kind of strange there is no scam report option on dnd platform.

I report these on telecommunication / banking header based on the content. They usually warn the violators, maybe they even block these numbers after enough violations.

Got a call on my Airtel number that it has won Reliance Jio lucky draw. INR 10 lakhs.

I asked the guy, kitna GST kat kar milega mera bumper prize? He hung up.
