Today i saw SCV Set Top Boxes in my Local Cable Operator's home.
The color of the STB is Black.He explained well about the STB & the current STB of SCV is better than Old SCV STB's. The clarity is really amazing than the old STB & it has good feautures.
The Package starts from 30 rs,50 rs,100 rs.All the channels are worthy.
He gave me a Form to fill it up & it has so many Rules & Conditions,the Rules & Conditions mostly Favours for SCV. The Subscriber does not have rights for any CLAIMS which is uncommon.
The STB although it is free by SCV, the local cable operator charges 350 rs for Booking Installing Activating the Account.
I got the SCAN copy of the RULES & REGULATIONS of SCV FREE STB PLAN.

guys i am a boy who is only 13 years old. my grandpa booked and got the set top box. it cost us rs 400 for smart card and activation charges.we took a 50 ruppes packege(with tax comes to rs 60).it included espn,starsports,tensports,starcricket,neosports,axn,hbo,star movies,discovery and animal planet. the package starts from rs 30 and ranges till rs 250 or so. the package which u choose will remain unaffected or 2 months. after 2 monnths u can add upto 5 channels and after 4 months u can change your package.i dont know what are the terms and conditions are told by the other cable operators. this is what our cable operator said.all the best.the sooner u book the box the sooner u get it.:thumb:

u have to choose one of the package ie 30 to 250 (tax included), and after that u can add n number of channels u wish (each channels cost 5 with tax it is 6).U can add any channel any time by just paying rs 6 for that.
If u want to remove a channel u have subscribed u must have that in your package atleast for 3 months.
Ex : U can subscribe Sony any time.and u have subscribed SONY on 01-03-2008 , if u want to unsubscribe SONY , u can do so only after 01-05-2008 not before that.
