Select sites/actions not loading!

I have MTNL broadband 256k unlimited plan and for the past month select sites like Facebook, Youtube, Digg don't load. I also find that certain actions like uploading pictures does not happen. For instance:

1) I cannot upload a profile picture to Posterous.

2) I cannot upload a picture to www.mypiction.com

I would really appreciate if you could help me sort this issue out as it is making me very inefficient and I'm tired of trying to deal with MTNL support.

try changing the MTU value in your modem to 1430
