Set top box and digicard !

I have dish tv installed at my home. But i was just wondering if it is possible to use a digicard of another company like Tata Sky/sun on the dish tv set top box. Same as we do for our mobiles, we have freedom to use simcard of any service providers. If not then isn't this unfair, we are supposed to have that freedom. Are there any chances that this would be possible in future if trai takes serious note of it.Any info regarding this topic please.:thumbsup:

Currently not possible. In future may be if all DTH operators agree on common encryption & remove STB/card pairing. Other solution is CAM interface which can be used in any STB
