Setting Home server via dyndns(WA3002G4 router)

Hi Guys,

I know this topic is discussed in this forum couple of times. I went through most of the threads but I couldn't get it working on my system.

Setup:
Operating System: Windows XP
Web Server: WAMPServer
Dynamic DNS Client: DynDNS
Router: WA3002G4

On ROuter:


[*]Under NAT, created virtual server for port 80.
[*]Under NAT, Enabled DMZ.
[*]Router firewall disabled.

Problem::wall:

I get router's login page when i try accessing my page.However localhost works fine. I tired from different computer also. I still get login screen prompting me to enter routers username/password.

Please let me know how can I resolve this issue.

Also, please let me know if you require any more information to understand my issue.

Have you checked for a DDNS option under DNS in the menu ?

Yes, I did add DDNS too. But i still get login popup when I try hitting my page. :wall:

did you try from a different computer "outside your network".. if the different computer is connected to the same router, then yes it is natural to get the router login page.. ask your friend or someone to try accessing your website using external ip 59.x.x.x or 117.x.x.x

Yes! it does work from outside my network. But how come its asking me username/password from my network and even if i give the login ceredentials, it takes me to my router setting page instead of my index page.

its called loopback connection error

I got your point ... i can help u but not in public ....PM me the Settings with snapshots ... Because i use Same way to connect to internet ... that was easy .....i use Ftp server ,ssh , torrent , many more ..... I think its a problem in port forwardingi use about 10-15 services .... And there is one problem in using Dyndns.org ..... after u r response i will tell u
