i believe you router is not a wireless one?? in that case buy a good powerful 802.11 N router like a Linksys wrt160n(dont really remember the name, check it on linksys.com), pull out you lan cable from the modem and plug it into you new wifi router, and setup bridging by looking into the manual, and you have wifi, dont forget to secure it!!
