share internet connection

Is there a way to share internet connection in bridge mode...tried disabling dhcp didn't work...any ideas..

you can share internet connection in bridged mode only if you use your machine as a gateway and enable ICS (internet connection sharing) in your desktop.. for this you need minimum 2 LAN cards in your pc.. If you have a 4port modem and you are trying to share an internet connection in bridged mode,then its not possible

i had earlier enabled ICS but the internet speed in the client machine is very slow, thats why i want to share directly from the hub..i have an ethernet hub as well.

if you want to do it through a hub then you have to use ppoe mode in your modem..ICS should work fine.. make sure you use opendns in the client pc
