Shifting from Reliance Infra to Tata Power in Mumbai

one thing guys,why does the energy charge come lesser than the tariff slab....im having reliance n i had used 510 units...d tariff slab shows 1096 paise per unit which is rs.10.96 per unit...but my energy charge was 3346 only...why does it show less bcoz accordingly it should be more than 5000rs.....is it a mistake or a proper meter reading...

No, this is not a mistake.The calculation is done slabwise.For the first 100 units the charge is Rs. 296For the next 200 units the charge is Rs. 1112For the next 200 units the charge is Rs. 1824and for the final 10 units the charge is Rs. 106Hence the total comes to arround Rs. 3338 approx to what your bill is(for the accurate figure please check the bill slab details and the FAC-fuel adjustment charge).
