should bsnl launch unlimited plan of above 256kbps bandwith?for eg 384kbps unliited for rs1399 and 512kbpsunlimited for rs 1999/month can anyone of you contact the bsnl officers and suggest to introduce the above plans?
and how would u know that? the market is driven by the competition (or lack of it) not what the companies want... i had like BSNL to provide a range of solutions. and no number of packages are enough...
This is my dream rate for unlimited plans. And i am sure it will happen once the competition will tighten.256Kbps----->Rs.300512Kbps----->Rs.5001Mbps-------->Rs.7002Mbps-------->Rs.1000Will this happen this year?
I had once come across a website listing broadband rates by different providers across the globe. There are providers providing 8Mbps connection for less than Rs.1500 but with a monthly allowance of 50GB.So, i don't think its impossible in India.
that's the whole point. speed is not going to be the problem. problem will be the bandwidth load. even the biggest ISPs in the US have said that the internet backbone they have was never developed with the concept of delivering television on the internet which is what the companies are now conceptualising...maybe they are lying but that's what they say...if everyone gets online at the same time eating up 2 megs of bandwidth, it's gonna result in a choked backend which might collapse just like our power grid does every now and then.the problem is the load not the bandwidth availability or the speeds.
