Samsung Star DUOS B7722 Price, 3G HSDPA, Dual Sim and 5MP Camera Reviews

I already stated why Samsung B7722 will not work!

See quoted texts below.

Yes but Samsung B7722 is not a smart phone just a Java phone. Which means, I cant install applications on it. Cant multitask.. blah blah.

Other micromax etc... brands I dont really want to trust.

Btw Samsung B7772 does not support tethering i.e. u cant connect it to PC

If you want broadband, mobile phone's antenna is never strong enough compared to even cheapest dongle's antenna.
Getting a dongle dedicated to broadband will lower your potential issues of poor range.

Get Huawei E353. It's future proof up to 21 mbps HSPA+. You can also order a separate external antenna if you have poor connectivity indoors.

Buy a non branded Huawei modem. So you don't have to deal with debranding / unlocking issues

E353 comes heavily branded by Hutchinson 3 UK/AU

But they had a deadline where first batch of modems were pushed to retail without any branding. Those modems are available in limited quantities on eBay India here.

Buy before stocks run out. I am using the same one and satisfied.

Mobile antenna is not strong??? How can that be, mobiles have to have strong antenna after all that is the most important part.

It's a known fact. Plus mobile has many overheads OS/background tasks which affect signal strength and reliability. My iPhone 4 for example. It's the epitome of antenna weakness. If you touch most phones, you cause signal to drop as demonstrated by Apple at last year's emergency PR conference in September.iPhone 4 manages 2mbps with wild fluctuations in speed. But E353 has steady speed of 2.20 Mbps at same spot.3G modem is designed with internet in mind so it works better. My experience. This might change as we get dual core phones with more resources and better allocation.
