After hearing so many good things about Airtel, i decided to switch from BSNL to Airtel and co-incidentally i was also shifting my house. So i opted for Airtel, salesmen came the same day and the connection was ready the next day in the new house :OThis could have taken 1 month if i had instead opted for BSNL!:happy:But the plans, are really pathetic.. I was planning to get the 1699 plan - 1mbps Unlimited with a reasonable Fair Usage Policy , but the plan list that the salesmen gave me did not have that plan :@So i opted for the Impatience 1299 plan having 2mbps speeds till 20gb and 256kbps after that!Considering that 20GB can be exhausted in a short time, lets say 10-15 days, is it good to move back to my BSNL Unlimited 750 plan which has 512kbps speeds? Should I wait ? Is airtel planning on increasing their post Fair Usage Policy limits? or do they even implement the Fair Usage Policy because i'm yet to find that out..Thanks

I dont think airtel gonna make changes in FUP anytime soon..........The new plans have only been put up last month Dont u hv a other choice rather than airtel or BSNL ?Wait some time Hayai maybe der soon..

I might have missed it but do you already have a presence any where in India? I am looking forward to the launch in Chennai and the plans you are going to offer.

Mumbai only we have cables laid but no matter where you are, we're waiting for our routers to arrive so we can actually provide a service. I think part of the problem is that we had to import them ourselves.

Airtel/BSNL are done changing/upgrading tariff plans for this year. Firstly you need to tell us whether you are a casual internet user or a heavy downloader. I mean how much data do you need per month? 20GB? 50GB? 100GB+? If you're sure you won't exceed 20GB then you're fine with your current tariff plan. Also once you cross 20GB you can continue browsing @ 256 Kbps. Downloading anything @ 256 Kbps will be a big PITA. So, if you are a normal/casual internet user, stay with you current tariff plan else disconnect Airtel and go for BSNL UL750/UL750+
