Sify Broadband Service Charges!

will do the same here as well. who would come to ask us? Ashok :lol:i will tell him to keep the money to himself and tell Ashwini to kiss his own @$$.

yeah it might be ashok or might be your local cto.. well tell them both to take a hike.. :P besides you tell them that you are supplying power to their network thingy or whatever it is and THEY are the ones who should be paying you service charges  omg.. know what you do that.. just take a pic of your cto when you tell him that.. would really like to see his face.. rofl

Hi,May be this will help :-Service charge is charged for providing value-added services. ITs NOT to be charged on products provided by Sify Ltd.I DO NOT charge my customers any kinda charge as long as they are not using any of value-added services.Beside that, no1 can promise u 24x7 uptime with this kinda prices. If some1 is geek enuff i'll suggest go for a leaseline.Thanx!

Hi again!Talkin about Services Charges, Sify has again played with the Price Matrix.Instead of payin 615, u'll be payin 695 (i just hope u dont have to shell out another 50bux for CTO)And, instead of 815, u'll be shellin out 895.O yeah, therez another one, instead of 1100, pay 1200.Silver lining :- prices of 32k+, 48k+ & 64k+ packs for the duration of 6 months r same for the time beingBeside that, they r again goin to revise some of the packages, but no clue about what cud be the changes like.Thanx again!

if they cannot promse 24x7 connectivity, they oughta mention that on the prospectus. I saw that no where when I got the package.and if i am dependent upon the cto for reliability and not sify, they oughta mention that too. again, nothing is mentioned on the website.if we are supposed to pay the cto for maintaining the line, they oughta mention that somewhere. nothing on the website.a friend of mine pays 66% of his package amount towards service charges to the CTO. i pay nothing at the moment. why is there no standard rule? why does not sify interfare? cto's threaten the customer that they would disconnect the line if the money is not paid. why does not sify interfare?if you guys want us to understand your problems, be clear about them in the beginning. don't fool the customer into believing that they would be away from the tortures of dialup for ever.

Never heard of a CTO before I came here. I guess I get my internet from sify directly.

My CTO used to provide his own network until 1 year back when he became a BA for Sify....He used to give me 30 hrs a month @32 kbps pure for Rs 450 a month. When I saw Sify package of 40 hrs valid for 2 months at 64kbps and Sundays free priced ar Rs 800, I was overwhelmed.......for less than Rs 50 a month I was getting so much more.....when i called Cto, he told me the price of Rs 1200=800+400 (400 as service charges).....u know what when I called Sify....one fool CC Executive wud say there are no service charges.....other wud say we dont have no contrrol over it, they can charge anything.....what the heck are they ur BA then.....I was at war with my cabewallah for a month......then he settled at Rs 150 pm.........pity he gave me 50 rs relief....what a courtseyI want to renew online but my pack (Family Pack) has been discontinued on their website...I have to renew thru my cablewallah

Even I get my Sify from a BA and not a CTO I guess. So far, this being my first month, I paid Rs. 615 only. The incidents about customers paying half of their package costs as service charges are outrageous. How can the Sify franchisees get away by charging that much extra?!

i hope u wudnt mind payin Rs.695 for the same pack wich u got for 615 while renewin this month.
I wont remind u of services charges coz no such thing exists legally.
But yes if he is providin u something more than an internet connection then he deserve to charge extra for this value added service.
