actually i found it very interesting how sify broadband dealt with their customers and how the satyam scandal unfolded. in the end, both the companies turned out to be a bagful of hurt. for us the consumer and for their investors.

dont know why this comes up so late in the papers!
after the customers are FUP'd, they print the news. and now, some news channel (read: India TV) will broadcast this with some people as 'experts'.
so, do watch out. lol.

we have had a couple of news reports already. a couple of online articles in magazines too. does not really change anything as it does not really affect a lot of people. especially the people who matters (the voting section of the society hah!). anyways. it is good to see that more people are now aware of FUP. if only they had realized the problem when airtel launched the FUP with a 100GB limitation. no one took that seriously. still some people do not mind FUP as their requirements are fulfilled by the 8-50GB plans.
