Signal Private Messenger

When we use different email addresses for different types of conversations. Even different phone numbers for the same. Why can't we use different messengers to keep work and personal life, separate? I think it's a good idea.

It all depends on what type of people you interact with . Not many want to keep 2 apps separate for Work and Home use. Getting them on a platform which you use is a huge problem. That is why Whatsapp transition is damn slow

Agree many people are not agreeing to having 2 messenger app, the other extreme is having 3 on the phone . Noticed that many new entrants who had flooded Telegram are now back to WA not not accessing their Tg app for last 2 days.

I was creeped out when my church's pastor sent a Bible quote to me on signal yesterday. I don't mind it, but I was creeped out.

yup. one of the criticism of signal is that it locks out third party apps. for an open platform, they are a pretty closed system. even telegram let third party apps using the same protocol which is open source and there are a lot of unofficial apps out there.
