Sitting with wallet in your back pocket might not be a good idea

Never been a fan of purse in back pocket... I used to ask as a kid, why in the world would you want to keep it in the back pocket. And then got used to the habit of keeping it in the front, and I hardly carry much cash or dont even keep cards, only carry what is needed & hence no fear of theft. I tried to keep it in back after advice of a few in the view of safekeeping & it felt so irritating that I said - One must be crazy* to do it .. I am not doing it anymore

Me too! I never understood the logic behind keeping it in the back pocket. Its way to riskier than the front IMO....especially if u travel in Mumbai locals.
 
While travelling in buses and metro? I do the same, front pocket.I don't know why would someone sit on their wallet if it's that filled up :|I tend to through my wallet and phone in backpack and relax :D
 
And the backpack actually hangs in the front, so that someone doesnt slit the bag & steal ur stuff without u getting a hint.
 
Always kept the wallet in the front pocket. Keeping it in the back pocket just wasn't comfortable when sitting.
 
I always out my wallet in front pockets whenever I travel in trains., and I make sure am wearing jeans so it becomes more secure.
 
What i generally do is travel with enough money for a day inside pocket, and put wallet in my sling Bag..this way i have a very little use for opening a wallet in a day..just to get cards.

I do carry a wallet but never kept it in my back pocket. It's my habit to carry it in my front pocket, and since it's a habit, I feel nothing about it. My logic always is - pickpockets are habituated & skilled to steal from back pocket and 99% people keep their wallet in back pocket :tongue_2: - in this case, do the opposite of what 99% does.

Result? My wallet got 15 years old. :verydrunk: never even once picked!!!
.... oh yes, no Sciatica either!
