I was on the 1350RS 512k UL. Now that plan does not exist.I can see the 512K UL plan cost only 750RS.This month BSNL charged me 1050RS instead of 1350 from this month.I don't even know what Plan I am on. I am getting the same speed of 512K.So I wanted to know if anyone was aware when this price reduction has taken place. Also any suggestion on what I should do?They have been charging me almost double for 512K ever since the Price Drop. Also now they have changed my plan without informing me.What can I expect, can I expect a refund for the months they overcharged me.Also where and how do I complain.Thank you

First find out by login to your portal the plan which you are provisioned. Then read this.. .:Unlimited Home Only:. and select the plan which you want from it and ask the exchange to change your plan to the one which you want.

I had just mentioned that I do not know the plan which I am on. I am not even bothered to know it as I will be changing it to BB Home UL 750, earlier this very plan was known as BB Home UL 1350 which does not exist anymore.
I am more interested in recovering my money as I still have time till 7th of the next month to change my plan.
I want to know the date when this BB Home UL 1350 was changed to BB Home UL 750
So from then I can ask them for a refund of 600 rupees per month.
(ideally i would go in for BB Home Combo UL 750 as I don't make outgoing calls)
Also looking where to complain to get any response.

Talk to Accounts Office(commercial) in your Main telephone exchange of the city.I am sure operator is not bound to return the over-charged amount as the plan you subscribe can remain unchanged however to attract more newcustomers every company uses such marketing tricks. However if they themselves relaxed your monthly payment i would only say its a good thing done already one should not ask refund from the date new plan was introducedif you were so worried, you should have changed the plan when it was made available itself.I am on night unlimited plan, however I'll be changing to Rs.750 one in a day or two itself, i will try it for a month and then switch back if it doesn't fits my usage needs.

I came to know of the change only after I saw this months bill. I went online and found the plans changed.
So I have to contact them, before I do I thought let me take some advice from here.

BSNL sucks here in Surat. They don't have a Junction box(DP). The line that is coming from underground cable is just a big bunch of open wires and then it goes over the terraces of a few houses and reaches my house. At my house also there is not junction box its just come directly through my window.
Its been one year and they are just refusing to put a junction box.

The worst service I have ever seen is BSNL. Its all good if you don't have any problems but if you have any problems you better either move to another place or change your ISP.

Try calling Nodal officer or Appellate authority. ID and phone no on the backside of your bill. Switch to either UL 750 or ULD 1350. It gives 2Mbps till 20 GB and 512 afterwards.
