Smartax Mt841 And Windows 7

Dear All, I have bought Windows 7 Premium Laptop and trying to connect to Smartax Mt841. Though I am able to connect thru WiFi, it is not able to connect thru LAN. I have Smartax Mt841 configured as Auto Dial. I tried to find the same problem in forum but could not locate. If it is duplicate entry, please direct me to the relevant posts. Surprising : No LAN mode but WIFI working .
Did you set up a lan connection in your desktop/laptop ?
Are you using external wifi router or the insert WLAN card for MT841?
