As the title suggests, I am planning to upgrade from iPhone 12. I am more inclined towards android devices this time, they offer better value for money and most importantly, better battery life and charging speeds.
I have been using my iPhone since last 4 years and honestly it has stood the test of time. Apart from poor battery life, I don't think there's anything fundamentally wrong with my phone. Cameras can still beat any OnePlus and Oppo flagships for sure, software experience is also decent although I have started to notice a few stutters here and there in some applications. Also the memory management has gone for a toss now as it only has 4GB of RAM. So to sum it up, the phone has started to show it's age and I honestly don't want to upgrade to the latest iPhone due to low RAM and 60Hz Display. Pro models are out of my budget.
Samsung S23 Ultra is currently available for 72k on Amazon which seems to be a good deal. I have watched multiple reviews and I think the phone fits my requirements although I might still have to stretch my budget a little. If anyone is using this phone, please let me know about your experience.
I am also thinking to wait for the launch of nothing Phone 3. My dad uses the Phone 2a and I love the clean software experience( reminds me of good old oneplus 7T days) and stellar battery life. The only weak point with nothing phones is camera but I honestly don't care much about the camera performance. The phone 3 should come with SD 8s Gen3 or elite.
I want a good screen with 120hz refresh rate, decent cameras, good battery life and decent software experience.
I was also looking at the Iqoo 13 which was a good deal for the hardware but I don't like their OS and cameras. Not interested in buying any phone from the BBK group.
Pixel seems to be a decent option but I think the processor is not at par the with the competition and might start to show it's weakness after 2 years of updates.
Honestly I am very much inclined to buy the S23 Ultra but I am having second thoughts of buying a 2 year old flagship device. The current generation is way out of my budget.
Any suggestions or experience would be valuable and help me make a buying decision.
