This thing is an exaggeration. Tier 4 data centers are shielded against nuclear radiation even. Core network going down world over is a rare thing.

But yeah, 4G towers, general power, traffic lights, GPS, DTH/TV, MRI scanners, car batteries, practically most things could be lost.
