So airtel’s NOC team is not responding to fix my static ip issue. Already filed disconnection request for my airtel connection.

no use of having airtel if they cannot fix simple issue. The main thing is that NOC people not even picking calls of local engineers lol.

I will get netplus broadband connection as they are having far better support atleast in my area.

Fixing the static IP 'bug' was bound to happen some day. Oh well, it is good while it lasts. After that back to PPPoE :)

@Rickysin Even in my case, they are not responding to any email. I requested them to cancel my request for activation of static IP. Customer care says that I am already on Static IP as per their records. I haven't received any single call or email regarding activation of static IP with necessary details like IP, gateway etc. So it's obviously not configured on my router. How can they claim it as activated if IP is not configured at CPE?This is strange. All SRs were closed w/o any intimation.
I don't have the energy and time to fight or argue with their stupid CC now. My bill gets generated by the of month, if I see any kind of charges for static IP which was not even activated, I am going to create a ruckus.

@rajat_ Is there no "higher authority" email in Airtel? For example, in Jio, we can send our complaints to certain emails which is on high level officials' name and then our complaint is usually taken on higher priority.

@Zuke there's appellate specific to every state but I get the same automated replies from them as well. There's also net at airtel dot com but I never had any luck getting decent replies from them. They keep on repeating the same automated shit that your request is under progress and we will keep you informed.
