Yesand its annoying like madIt drops totally dead for 5 ~ 10 seconds...and comes back againIm going to Thailand tomorrow, and when i come back im gonna complain a bitSlowly im boiling redhot bcuz of AirtelDoes any1 know how much that gay-phone , Beetle or something,that comes with the connection costs? i trashed it today, it flew through my room and its destroyed

[/quote]That used to happen to me as well, and the solution was to replace the LAN-modem since it seemed to have been affected in some way.

Same thing with your telephone instrument too - it seems to have developed faults, replace it.

Right now. the telephone really needs replacement after its flight with no proper landing ( i regret it now a bit though )as soon as i come back frm my short trip ill start working on this issue and get the line fixed

Now that I have been using airtel for quite sometime now i cna't say iam a newbie but the line once connected never gets disconnected unless i disconnect.btw i am using airtel for coimbatore.Note : I also use data one at ooty with no problems

Jeez this knak person seems to be getting knacker'd with Airtel. Don't know why, they seem quite professional compared to what i got previously. Heh, why dont u try BSNL ot the local cable hook-ups, actually don't u might end up in jail for hitting someone. Actually while ur in Bang-my-cock, why dont u try out some of their greenish stuff, you know take your mind some place peaceful.I notice it might drop to 0.0k some times, but it gets back up. Note that i dont use any VoIP etc where such things are important. My downloads are largely unaffected by this.Thunder storms etc , no disconnects. NONE whatsoever in the last month. The problem now seems to be the UPS only lasts an hr and *NOT* the connection. The phone offfer was quite sweet since its essentially free with caller-id, now i know when not to answer the phone i don't really use the phone much, use it on the BSNL line. For some reason we seem to be unwilling to dump it just yet.

I dont get disconnected, the line stays on, but there is no data transfer, it just drops dead for sometime

im in bangkok now, tomorrow i uunfortunately i go back, and the first thing ill do is call these dickwads, went to bangkok for medical reasons so , i still suffer some pain so i am really in the mood for some hardcore complaining till they cant handle it anymore ;-)
