Ekta Kapoor is singularly responsible for the scraping-the-bottom level of hindi entertainment programming. There was a time when there were brilliant serials like Chanakya and Bhanwar. Serials like Hasratein, Saans, Pal Chhin and Saboot were good. And then there was the exceptional Star Bestsellers.Now all that remains is crap of the worst kind. Every serial has an audience and if people want to watch EK serials, let them. But why subject every person in the country to this torture? What this clearly demonstrates is that media companies are not ready to get off their a***s and innovate. Everybody has jumped on to the EK bandwagon. Too bad, coz it is going to hell.

^^^Ya agree with that. Serials like Byomkesh Bakshi was amazing and also Karamchand. Those were real watchable serials...............And offcourse what u mentioned Hasratein, Saans, Pal Chhin and few more were seriously a good watch, sadly Ekta has just spoiled the whole Television Entertainment with her serials where common theme is "Extra Marital Affairs" and "Person dying today and coming back after 150 odd episodes of rona-dhona"...............

Inx has a music channel (no non-music programming, no vjs - they claim) and a news channel (who the hell will watch yet-another-made-up-facts-channel; have become used to taking every piece of 'news' with a tablespoon of salt). And an EK-lead entertainment channel. Nothing new. Nothing fresh. Welcome to Tata Sky.
