India is part of the WTO. I am not even sure if they are allowed to ban imported goods under their policies. Maybe they should detach themselves from the WTO and announce the adoption of North Korean model.
yup. lame teachers. either they do not get it themselves or they just did it for the lulz to save themselves a lot of effort to explain to these kids how things work in real life today... and gain some media attention in the process.
as i said emotions are at peak here , no point of arguing , i think you want teachers to teach kids build factories from tomorrow morning itself and start production
and no where in the video it is mentioned that they are even demanding a import ban from the government , they are simply saying to themselves and others , stop using imported as well as foreign companies made product (however may be in india)
i think i need to go into hibernation , emotions are so wild in the forum ,that every piece of article is scrutinized entirely different angle

lol. i am simply saying. pick any random kid who has decided to gone swadesi. do a full report on what he/she has done to ensure that it is followed. as simple as that. let's see how many of them would be happy to use patanjali branded soaps and toothpastes and datun for their toothbrush.
I would start by investigating if the banners they were holding were made up of paper and crayons (or whatever) made by an indian company or not.
Also of course. The job of the teacher is to guide the students in the right direction. Not encourage stupidity.

so now you will blame the kids for the faults of the country/government ? obviously they will find hard to survive , when they will try what they want to achieve, but then they will also be able to see where india stands ? that they dont even have real alternatives
that will blow their minds away , no doubt , and theta will surely (atleast in some) will blow a fire to make a change in the system , thats the way they will know what a shitty government they have in the name of government .
a commendable step on the part of the teachers and kids , is being put in negative light just because they are on tv ? phew
i am out of here of this debate

Holy Schmoly. One of the kid says why use Dove. Why not use Lux. Lux is a Unilever brand which is definitely not Indian.

right , now a kid cannot be even a kid and be wrong , when most of the adults in this forum are having wrong kinds of perceptions about the knowledge of kids

as i said... kids should be guided properly. promotion of stupidity is a bad thing. by teachers and media alike.

Most of the mobiles ..even the ones made by Indian companies are got from China :|
This is nothing but shitty way of getting attention of media ..no way practical in real life. Why Iam angry is they're using student to propagate their shitty propaganda.

You just reminded me of an incident back in school. I was in a convent school and well now that I realize, most of the nuns we had were converted ones. Not born Christians.
Anyhow. One day, we were notified that the school body was going to Delhi to protest about something and they were going to take the kids along with them.
We were all excited about the prospect of going to Delhi and protesting about something. When I came home and told mom and she basically told me to STFU. I took a leave the next day.
Now that I think about it, it was probably for demands of rights for Christian minorities or probably to promote their conversion processor or whatever.
In other words, they were just using us to spread their propaganda. I think this was when I was in class 4th or 5th.
