i have the lower ver of this, but you can,t paly Video VIA USB in Sony Home theater

yes i realize that, that is fine, because i have a ps3 that can do it for me ...But how is the sound quality other than that?

Thats Good, Than Go for it.Sound Quality Is Awesome, You Have to Set Different Mode For MOvie, Audio CD, DVD, FM and USB.

I've a lower end version DAV - 270 and it sound good with PS3 connected over optical. Tall boy speakers looks good as well. The mode I've produces bass very well, But it depends on the room size if it's enough to fill the music. Why don't you try the Yamaha YHT-195. It should be around 20 K and can do better job than Sony.

Sony is a good brand and i own DAV-DZ777 model home theatre and its tall boy speakers looks cool and their performance also rocks :dance:
