Just came back after having a look at Xperia Z at univercell store in Bangalore. The best price they are offering right now is 38990, which comes to 37k after the citibank 5% offer.
It comes with ear phones, one Sony head phones (look good, but I have not tested), casing, screen guard but no SD card.
White color is too bad, black looks better. The back of the phone is prone to finger prints, looks bad.
As it contains software buttons and back button being on the left side, tough to navigate with one hand even though I have bigger hands.
Brightness is less, so is speaker output. Not much lag issues. Camera seems decent, video is fine. pics look ok, nothing out of the world.
Volume rocker are midway, will take time to get adjusted.
Build quality is excellent.
Xperia Z is good but is missing something. 37k seems too costly, its better to wait for S4.

Never bought anything so costly online...
But I need time to think and will wait for a detailed review of S4.
The brightness/display in Xperia Z did not look that good, does not give the impression as HD resolution. I checked 2 handsets, one looked better (may be cos of wallpaper), the other too pale. It did not look exciting at ll to me

the display is basic lcd from what i have heard. there are no delusions. it is horrible for anyone who has used a premium android smartphone in the last year or so. it has no comparison with slcd or samoled.

To make matters worse, just stumbled upon Galaxy Duos in the store, it looked more bright and vibrant! very eye catchy...

probably. a friend who has played around with media samples told me that it looks fine if you are not coming to it from a high end android device. but if you are, you would not be able to tolerate this phone for even 5 minutes.

From the official specifications. It is TFT

Hmmm. TFT is a deal breaker for such a high end phone.
Sony will probably launch another phone with a better display in a few months
