Sound Quality On Tatasky Sky Decreased...

GUYS,
i have noticed that sound quality has decreased on all zee channels and some sun channels ....for the proof u can check on Satellite Control Center SatcoDX earlier it was 128-133 kbps which is equal to cd quality but now it has decreased to 55-65 kpbs ..

Plz donot talk about the channels other than Star Network, Sony, NDTV, NGC ..etc. Tata Sky was famous for quality. but not now. if you look at any of Sun channels the video and audio quality is just comparable to Cable. its is not at all DVD quality video and CD quality audio. for last couple of weeks video and audio in Gemini Music is not in sync. meaning lip moment in video is not in sync with audio. I complained of this to CC many times and I get same old " its broadcaster's problem" answer. Tata Sky should improve their Video and Audio quality for Sun channels and Zee channels. or Tata Sky already gave up the fight with Sun DTH? might be they are thinking that people in South are anyways going to Sun DTH and there is no point in giving Sun channels in good quality on Tata Sky :=) thanksmnreddy

I am not facing such problem.Apart from Neo Channels which are having low sound compare to others everything is ok.

I agree with you as even i face the problem with neo sports as we need to add 2 - 3 more volume level in our remote :wall:. I think its because of the actve services.

I was trying to watch Mind Your Language on Zee Cafe a couple of days back and the sound was so scratchy n muffled that it was hard to pick up on some of the dialogues. So i shot off a mail and got a call yesterday morning from Bangalore. They claim that inferior quality feed is being made available by the content provider(Zee) itself so they can't do much abt it, but they'll work on it nevertheless.

So "DVD picture and CD audio quality"ust have a qualifier: Blame the content provider; we are not responsible.Like BBC (We apologise to the viewers for the poor quality of transmission), TS must also inform the viewers when quality is bad (due to technical reasons beyond our control).

@waterloo sunset... Not true. Most of the channels sound quality is not good. a kind of GHUNGroo noise. it is coming like during 8kbits sound of real audio.come of salman khan dialogs in nach baliye I was unable to pick. DD-1....dont ask rubbish...sound. sports chnls are good
