well i have not watched the last epi yet, but i guess they stayed true to history after taking real advantages of it too, Julius caesar was never involved in this battle , he was with Pompey in spain at that time , the term Imperator was used for 1st time by Augustus the 1st emperor of the roman empire before that Rome was a republic !! i guess it sounded cool :P they also could have let Spartacus walk off in the end as there are 2 views historically on this as his body was never found and the Romans had literally dug up the battle field for his body so they could put him on a cross some historians are of the view that he had escaped south and was not killed in the battle but that is debate able. over all of a fun show by Jupiter's cawk :D

Exactly. And I think that they couldn't show Spartacus fleeing to south while rest of their army was getting crushed. It would probably portray Spartacus as a coward. Gannicus death saddens me, he shouldn't have got such an unfortunate ending.
 
Last 2 episodes left and I already know it is going to be painful to watch after the death of Crixus.
Done and that ends a magnificent show.
 

i have decided to not watch the last 3 ep. end is pretty much known. plus even though not part of Spartacus, Markus and his son too bite the dust in another battle :karma :tongue:
