download speed is ok
but when i used the torrent
i am getting only 50 kbps(avg)
and when i call them they say they don't support torrent !! but have not mentioned this anywhere !!

Just take another Internet connection and dump Spectranet.

If there are no other options, invest in a VPN. Use it for torrents and even for regular browsing.

Use a seedbox and SFTP the files to your local machine. I get better FTP speeds than torrent speeds

Spectranet does throttle torrents from what I have heard. As with a large company, stupid decisions are often taken.

Nope. Not throttled for me. I easily get 90-100mbps on a well seeded torrent. They probably throttle it if you are a heavy downloader maybe? I consume around 300GB per month out of which torrents would at max be 5-10 GB and so far there hasn't been any throttling.
