Sports channels too costly on Sun Direct DTH

Yes sports packs are costly in SD.but is it true that TS provide 5 sports channels at 75.as far as ive checked with Tata Sky website they give 6 sports channels (at Rs.1350 per annum (i.e., at Rs.112 per month)or 5 sports channels at Rs.105/- per month

mate...u gotta kno one thing ..ther r people who watch more than one sport or even one event. basically i watch football and tennis too. and i wud get all 5 sport channels @ rs 75/- on Tata Sky with jus abt the same quality (perhaps better)...why wud i pay twice the amount. its not fair. Sun's surely gotta reduce the prices for sports channels..and introduce a cheaper package maybe.:huh:

I guess you're right, but I wouldn't know cos I hardly watch any sports at all unless I'm forced to (got set max for the kids)...

yup...ur right...sorry abt my info earlier....the prices in TATA sky r as follows:
ESPN + STAR CRICKET + STARSPORTS = 65/-
TENSPORTS = 15/-
NEO PACKAGE = 30/-
TOTAL = 110/- PER MONTH

and SUN DIRECT
ESPN = 38/-
STARSPORTS = 38/-
STARCRICKET = 32/-
TENSPORTS = 20/-
NEOPACKAGE = 46/-
TOTAL = 174/- PER MONTH

in sports packages dish tv is best ESPn, Star Sports, Star Cricket, Zee Sports, Tens Sports are only 45+ tax :yahoo::yahoo: but it lacks Neo Channels but anyway who subscribes for Neo anyway
