No action can be taken, unless we stage a collective boycott. Just for example people in this thread.......If atleast we people decide that we wont buy the channels until they improve, it will have some effect. Effect in the sense that may be others too wud start understanding our view - That THIS PARTICULAR HD channel, is adding no utility, except for showing a little sharper picture. And since the HD penetration is more in Urban areas, i guess we can easily influence a majority of such subscribers. Keep hyping the issue & someday, sometime when they see a hit on revenues, they might realise that something is wrong.

difficult task mate but not impossible .. I for one am ok with this 1 ad inbetween overs but if those L shaped ads come im done .. ill disconnect my connection that day itself ..

Thats what is visible. When it comes to TV Viewing, our needs are less than modest. They start showing 1 ad. That increases to even more ads, and then L shaped ads. The thing is, if problems like this r nipped right in the bud, they never become big.I was pretty clear with Ten Cricket - i lived without watching Tests, but i didnt subscribe that nonsense channel. I wonder how many others wud have done this.In whichever field u go.....be it Politics, or be it as miniscule as TV viewing, u have to choose between 2 sides - Either ACT, or LIVE WITH IT. U dont have a middle road. (A la RDB.....:D)

Picture quality is pathetic. Although not as bad it was in Test 2. For those defending Tata Sky on picture quality issue, please comment if your TV is bigger than 42". Your 26" TV is not going to make a difference.

This is perhaps due to lack of KU Transponders that Tata Sky is forced to compress even more to accommodate another HD channel. If I had the option, I would only pay Rs. 50 per month only for HD stuff and nothing else. :(

Picture quality on tatasky has detoriated bigtime , was just scrolling through star plus hd and the coloring looked so fake and even the pixels could be seen to some extent on a 37 inch Sony bravia lcd ..
