I am kind of amazed how nicer Trek fanbase is. They just hate the makers of the shows not the actors. Generally speaking.

The reason behind that is Star Trek was always 'woke' from the get-go, the others are trying to do the right thing but then neither the directors or producers of the shows have been in favor. They are doing something that sells rather than something they believe in. And therein lies the difference.

Below should explain what I mean.

Now the legacy that Star Trek has, it has to become more and more inclusive

lol dunno. it feels like shit to be. but then star wars always felt like that to me. it is mostly about the background score which is shit here. i mean sure i just finished stranger things so this does feel pretty terrible to me. and of course some star wars fans are not very happy with this episode. generally speaking. for a six episode series, they are surely handling the storyline very slowly.

This show has the same problem Moon Knight had. For a 6 episode season, you'd expect things to move quickly. But in both cases, they are literally dragging through it. 3 episodes in and I can write the entire story in a single sentence. The shocking thing is that this has the same director as Mandalorian which from what I know everyone loved. (Personally, I couldn't finish it. lol)

I guess I just like it, because I remember all the eipsodes and I love the landscapes here. I’ve not been able to watch Mandolorian either.

I liked it, even Mandalorian 2 seasons were good, looking out for the third one, supposed to be out in Feb 2023, third season.
