i hav a problem..not sure if its due to dataone.. i see that the connectionis getting disconnected frequently, but i noticed that this happens only wheni download a number of files simultaneously..when i download 1 or 2 files, thisdoesnt happen.. the worst part is that after a number of disconnections,in one of thenext redials,it shows 'error connecting device' and never gets the connection again, unlessi hibernate (or restart) the pc.. on resuming from hibernation,it shows 'svchost.exe' hascaused an error and will be closed'..what i do is that i go to 'run',typesvchost, and its executed again, and no problem..i use home500.thenuiscance is when the connection goes off at about 4am..i loose much ofmy free time then..any1 with a solution?? probably,an ethernet driver error?? i use windows2000

No idea about svchost.exe error. ( virus/malware/spyware ?)
svchost.exe is a Windows component that often shows up in error messages. Unfortunately, quite often when it does the news isn't good

Para two :
What about the auto program you are using ?
Download AWcare personal from IObit | Free Computer Repair, Free Computer Scan Cleaner, Free PC Repair Software Freeware and Service run all menus. Once a week.
Download Disksweeper free2 from Crave Worldwide - Free download essential and useful softwares. once a week
Note free diskspace in C: before and after using this program. how much FS saved ?
ccleaner from filehippo.com - Download Free Software. as you like .

i use reconnect from ntoolz.com.. the reason i think its NOT a virus is that, its not occuring frequently..only when,i give a number of files to be downloaded...and i had this svchost.exe error as a virus effect earlier..it was very different..just a few mins into connecting to the net,the message would pop up,and i cant copy, cut, or check my net status using the taskbar icon

the reason i think its NOT a virus

I had this svchost.exe error as a virus effect earlier.
So no problem in your computer/modem. I think everything is fine.. .
