Well,my router's status light stops blinking,either solid green or nothing sending my router into a complete hang...and the webpages stop opening ,giving a message "server not found"..........to get the router back on i need to switch it off and on again and reconnect,but the problem occurs frequently......i do have another os(tiny xp) but it gives me no problem there,so suspecting a malware i reinstalled my os,but the problems continue,HELP !!!:wall:is it problem with my router or the os...or could there be problem with the power supply or phone line ???Forgot to add,the error occurs only when i connect to the internet,i use bridge mode !!!

may be problem with the voltage up n down of power supply.
But before all reset the router(not switch on/off). set it up accordingly.then try.
anyway, mention your modem/router model.
Give us the feedback.

my routers a ut300r2u,well i want to reset,tell me the appropriate settings i should restore...and 1 more thing,its not that the router gives faults always,yesterday it was fine for the entire day until 12am,then the problems started and today it was fine in the morning ,but now for the past 2 hrs its hell.Other details...my snr is 14db and line attn is 31 db ..thanks !!!

it could be some problem on the bsnl side.. it may be rectified automaticallyq

automatically,what does that mean...and why does the error show in win xp...whereas tiny xp has no issues at all !!!

well, I've been using the internet on tiny xp for the past hour,no issues...i switched back on to win xp and it all starts again :wall: !!Is there anyone around here who can help me ???

What is the last upd number for your Xp SP2 ? did you try Upd SP3?

whats upd number ...........i have sp2 and i don understand why the internet works well on tiny xp...and not on normal win xp ???
