My set top box goes off automatically if not used for long hours. Lets say if I switch off the TV at 11 in the night the next morning it's Off. I have to turn on the STB every morning to watch the TV. Any solution to keep the STB On all the time? I have another connection and it does not happen with that. Also, my STB remote is synced with TV remote so only one is used i.e the STB one. Is this is what causing the problem? Airtel guys are absolutely clueless about this.

This is a problem in hardware of your stb.
Can you please identify the model no of your stb?
and are you using SD or HD stb?

Thanks for your reply. I am using HD STB.

I found out that it isn't a problem with the STB. Infact, it's a feature where the STB goes into standby mode by itself if unused for long hours.
