Hi,I hv got MTNL broadband on Wifi router (Netgear WGR614 "abg"), on the 1st floor of my house, with it's antenna rod, turned downwards, so that any Wifi Device, on the ground floor, can catch the signal, and access Internet. When on Ground floor >Laptops:Now my HP tx1000 tablet (2 yrs old) easily catches the two bars, of signal, and connects to Wifi.but my Eeepc1000HE, which has wifi-n, finds it hard to find & catch signal.i know my router is not Wifi-n enabled, but anyways it's latest hardware, & it's still cannot access Wifi, but my 2yr old Tablet PC can easily.Mobile:my HTC touch HD, catches signal easily (2 bars).but my iPhone 2G doesn't (zero)Anybody knows how to correct the problem "OR" increase the signal to Ground floor, so that every device catches signal easily.thnx in advance.

@rajeevsharma8888 First check if your Eeepc1000HE has the same SSID as the HP laptop & Netgear. And also check if your Netgear WGR614 "a/b/g" is transmitting on all three or only on ‘a’ or ‘b’. Best keep it on the common protocol of all three. ie: router, HP laptop & Eeepc. And check if your Eeepc1000HE is set for 802.11n. If so change it to the same protocol as your WiFi router. Ie: ‘a’ or ‘b’.Try adding an access point midway to increase the signal on the ground floor.

All 4 devices catch full signal, when on 1st floor. It's just that on ground floor, they all show different behaviour.but for Now, I haveEEEpc1000HE = Wifi-n disabled.Protocol set to = b & gWhat to do to add an access point !How to add one ?
