Frankly speaking, 3D tech is still in infancy stage at the moment. Atleast for whats available commercially. U will hardly watch 3D for more than an hour or so, as it will cause strain to ur eyes. Its not worth investing in 3D at this moment, due to this reason, plus the fact that theres hardly much content in 3D.

can anyone tell me the difference between :

SONY BRAVIA 55" LED HD 3D TV KDL 55EX720 + 1YEAR WARRANTY, free 3D Glasses | eBay

and

SONY BRAVIA 55" LED HD 3D TV KDL 55EX720 + 1YEAR WARRANTY, free 3D Glasses | eBay

The product is the same. But I think the first one is a grey market product, as it doesn't specifically say '1 Year Manufacturer Warranty' therefore it would be a dealer warranty, while the second one clearly says '1 Year Manufacturer Warranty'. That's the reason for such huge price difference.

Budget : Upto 1 lakh max

I'd prefer Sony but others are also welcome.

Best you know.. :D

Sony 40" EX720 or NX720
Samsung 40" D6600 or D6000
LG 42" LW6500 or LW5700

I think LG has a bit more features than Samsung and definitely more than Sony.

I have been saying a similar thing as well. LG and Samsung are the best options for TVs these days. Both are almost at par in terms of features, but LG goes a notch ahead with its lower prices.

The USB video playback in LG LED TVs do not support DTS audio, which is most BluRay encodes. This, of course, could be circumvented by using a HD media player, laptops, desktops, gaming consoles etc. to play X264. The USB playback in SAMSUNG has no problem playing DTS.
