Suggest a cordless landine with power backup

Hi

I'm looking for a cordless landline phone with power backup which would work normally even during a power failure.

I found Panasonic 3615bx as one of the recommendations.

Anyone here using it? If so, reviews plz.

Any other recommendations?

I was about to create thread for same too.

Even I am interested in cordless landline phone (MTNL Mumbai)

I would want following in order of importance:

1. Good range with clear voice (practically 15-20 meter atleast)
2. Ring shud be loud enough to be heard behind closed door
3. Good battery life
   
4. Caller ID
5. Call logs (atleast missed call logs)
6. Address book (optional as landline is not used much)

Thats probably enough requirements that I can think of

Didnt know about DECT6 but its way too expensive anyway!

All modesl above 4k and my budget is 2k. (hardly use landline)

that's the thing. if you get a regular handset and you have a wireless router at your place, the speeds and the network quality would degrade massively.

@Vedant tried with a non-dect6 cordless recently. his network suffered even when landline was not in used.

My wifi router is about 10m far from place where I plan to put cordless.

Does it affect even if "channel" is set to auto?

Wouldnt router and cordless phone auto-select - non-interfering channel?

not an expert on the field i bought a dect6 after reading about the frequency issue few years ago and my wireless network has been fine with it. i have no personal experience with non-dect6 phones as the last time i used one, i do not think i had an internet connection at home!

maybe someone else would be able to guide better.

Me too postponed the purchase of cordless coz of wifi interference as my budget is <2000

@ admin Which brand dect6 have you bought? Price?

I have a Gigaset A490 and I do not find any noticeable interference with either my Belkin or with the Beetel/Airtel routers.

Check wireless speed with it turned off and on

The model I have is pretty old. No longer on sale. I got it through ibhejo.
