Ok .. My HTC HD2 died a sudden death this morning .. Im in no mood of getting it repaired .. as I was anyways planning to get a new phone .. but now a big question in front of me .. which smartphone to get .. I need something which suits business users .. I dont need Blackberry sort of services .. but a decent Business phone would be good to have .. should have good sync capabilities with exchange server and a qwerty keypad will be good to have ..Guys please suggest iPhone Android (plz suggest a model)WP7 (again .. model suggestion) .. or should wait for Nokia WP7 ?Nokia (liked the E7)

Cool... Congrats ....

Galaxy Fit is a decent phone for around 10k... but you would be stuck at Android 2.2 forever likely

How does Galaxy Fit compare to Dell XCD 35 ?(around the same price and will not get upgrade but for basic browsing with a big screen)

Thanks everyone....!! :)@ ulysses,I just wasnt aware of the options available in the market for this kind of needs. I knew options upto15k, but not lesser than that, and Dad didnt want me to spend more than 10k, for a phone when his older phone was still working. He just fancied this, and said that wud like try out, and slowly shift to touch phones. And then i too m new to touch phones, so if its Samsung, then i can experiment on mine & tell him what to do in his phone if needed.

Dell XCD 35 has better specs than galaxy fit except for the camera ( 3.2 vs 5 MP). The xcd's camera isn't great. But the xcd has a very high display resolution and can be upgraded to gingerbread. The g fit too can be upgraded to 2.3. The xcd has solid build quality, i have no idea about the build quality if fit though. Whether they get ics or not will depend on dev support and also on if their hardware is able to support ics or not.

Heck, I bought my xcd 35 for 18 k, never knew that it'd sell at sub 10k prices someday :P
