So I am running a server which has an internal NIC of Realtek and I have installed a TP-Link NIC which also happens to be of Realtek. I am running Server 2022 on that having a lot of reliability issues due to the drivers.
When the driver fails, it takes down both the NICs and since the server is placed in COLO DC, it is very cumbersome to fix.

I am looking for a PCIe ethernet card with Intel NIC, any suggestions. Should be atleast a gigabit.

What motherboard is the server?

Getting Smart Hands to replace the card is going to a b*tch and Intel stuff is not actually cheap.

If you are looking for a consumer-desktop range then the old Intel stuff should be good enough like, PWLA8390MT or EXPI9301CTBLK.

Else, if you are looking into something reliable, modern and server grade then for starters this is good, I210T1.
I have experience from buying from Mouser for enthusiast to enterprise stuff, so I'd recommend them.

It is a high end consumer gigabyte board. X670 AORUS Elite AX. I had build these 2 servers absolutely identical. One of them is being pain while other is running absolutely fine.

I am looking for something consumer grade. These are scratch servers.
