I did do a study of the package being offered by sun DTH. firstly all phone numbers listed were either busy, or switched off for day 1. next installation charges and taxes extra which come to about 1000. This is a clever ploy by all STB vendors to make up for cost of set top box discounts. so it is not entirely free.next at the thin line print it says offer valid upto october 31, which means after that there is high likelihood that box will get charged to the customer. how much they price it at is another point altogether.

The ad says that the offer can be withdrawn, but i am sure that who ever has booked will get a free stb and dish. They might remove this offer (free box and dish) for any new bookings after they reach a particular number of bookings, before the offer period ends.We would be too greedy to have free installation. Tata Sky and Dish Tv charge same amount for installation (dish chargers a little less). -Ravi
