hi,
am new 2 tata docomo ... got this 4gb plan ... used all 4gb in 8 days ... so now plan expired in 8 days of ths month ... now am getting speed of 4-5kBps which is pathetic ... so unlimited is totally super limited plan now ... even MTNL didnt do this ... was much much much super better than Tata Docomo ... any 1 facing this ???

was on mtnl unlimited plan ... this plan is also unlimited bt seems super duper limited ... feels like cheated .... reminded of going back 2 ages of 5-6 kBps speed ... lol

This is no joke. How can we guys accept such cheating form telcos? They have labeled it as a WORKING unlimited Internet connection, so it should at least work. Does Google.com open on 5kb Internet? WTF? really?

It's technically working as long as you can ping an online website. If you do not like the features of the package, upgrade.

So you agree with that BS from telcos? And what's the use of that 'technically working' when you just can't use the connection for anything? They won't change if we keep accepting their this behaviour.

What I agree with is that you got what they advertised. I am paying for a 2500 rupee package on BSNL Broadband because it offers what I need. I can switch to a plan that costs less than Rs. 1000 and then complain about getting FUPed. But that would make me look like an idiot. In simple terms, get a package that suits your bandwidth requirements. BSNL gives me close to 180kbps when it should give me 256kbps after the quota of 175GB is over at 4mbps. It does not matter because both the speeds are useless. So I tend to stay within the non-fuped speeds to ensure that I do not suffer much in the latter part of the billing cycle.
