So @Nishant recently mentioned this one as he has been progressively replacing all fans at his place with these units.

I am considering getting one for trial before I can decide on whether to start replacing all the fans progressively as well.

Opinions?

There are four models. Need to look into difference between them. The top end model has a remote which removes the need for a regulator so that sounds cool.

Great thing is that it is also available on Flipkart and other stores these days.

at least this reminded me that i do not have a copy of the invoice with me. now the struggle starts to get a duplicate.

frankly ..you getting empty packet didn't instill much confidence in the product

after placing the order, call their support number and tell them to not ship the package using india post. they would use gati or some other courier service. i plan to order 2-3 more units to replace other old fans once i get to test the fan for a few weeks in the coming days.

I got this thing today. I got A1 model.

On 4 and 5 this thing becomes slow and fast. That breeze control button on remote does not make it steady.
It runs steady only on 1,2 and 3.
Is it the normal operation or i got the faulty piece ?

breeze basically makes it slow and fast. i think the fast speed depends upon the speed on which you press the breeze button. so if you press breeze on speed 5, it should switch between 1 and 5 speeds every 10 seconds or so. 1/2/3/4/5 are stable speeds. so i can only assume that the breeze feature is not working as intended. the remote could be faulty as well :\ best is to call the customer care and ask for a replacement :\

So the fan started giving a strange sound while working. Emailed them the problem with a video. Someone from their service department called me to confirm the problem and asked few things. They then said they would be sending a replacement motor. The motor was delivered yesterday (five days since my email) and it looks like a new motor and not refurbished. They said they would be picking up the faulty motor from my residence later. Mighty impressed with their after sales service.

Just curious to know - who will replace the motor?

Is it kind of plug and play?
