Switching Airtel Black broadband to Prepaid in WB – Process, Experience & Tariff Details?

I currently use Airtel Black postpaid in West Bengal, paying around ₹707 for 30 Mbps internet + dish TV. Considering switching to prepaid and wanted to ask:

• Has anyone successfully switched Airtel Black broadband+TV to prepaid? What was your experience like?
• Heard that placing a disconnection request and then informing customer care about wanting prepaid works for Jiofiber. Can anyone confirm if this method is effective here too?
• Are the tariffs/benefits for prepaid and postpaid the same, or is there any difference?

Would really appreciate insights from anyone who's been through this process!

If you want to use both without interruptions then stick to Airtel Black as it comes with additional benefit.

I moved out from Black as I stopped using TV and currently using 499/- Broadband plan.

Moving out from Black is easy, BB will continue as postpaid but TV will be prepaid, also if you don’t recharge tv they will call you to surrender the set top box.
