Tata Docomo sim with Micromax modem

Hi allDid anyone use the Docomo 3g sim in micromax modem especially one with some data usage planTo explain : I got a docomo prepaid sim and got a recharge of 501 (for 1.25 GB) and configured my USB modem to connect to TATA.docomo.internet, but whenever I connect to net my main account balance gets deducted and not from this 1.25 GB dataWhen I called the customer care they told that the amount is deducted due to accessing Dive in Portal.I was wondering is there some setting I miss or I do not properly understand the plans.Any help would be appreciated.--Sapan

Hi TATADOCOMO

Thanks for the concern.
I have mailed this to [email protected], and got the reply that the SIM was not in the 3G mode and that is why any 3G recharge for Data Usage was not working on my connection.

Anyways, now they've activated the 3G and I tried with a Rs 90 recharge (200 MB) and it is not deducted from my main balance Now.

As I found most operators (BSNL & Reliance) SIM directly chooses UMTS/3G/HSPA network if available automatically! Only dumba$$ is Tata Docomo!
