waitin for official launch

1. 2G Service is awesome. Even GPRS speed is outstanding. I got 28 to 30 kbps. You can listen online radio without bufferring.
2. You can recharge your number online.
3. Network is good.

How is DOCOMO service quality like Signal, Voice quality, recharge options for prepaid in Pune for its 2G service?
I am thinking to get 3G sim, but first wanted to know how is its 2G service

I agree with @ajagtap. Signal/Voice Quality/Network/Coverage = Very Good. EDGE speed is 25-26 KBps.

Btw, no 3G symbol in my handset... yet.

I am using Flashget download manager for downloading. Thats why i got 28 to 30 kbps speed

Docomo seems to be on formula 1 car, going to be No 1 in 3G . This is good sign of competition , actually docomo is benifitted by its network , which is brand new and 3G ready , that why they did so early , write now , my friend told me , there 3G network is ready in 20 to 30 metros across nine circle, they are getting contents from VAS provider , it takes time , that why diwali is due date , otherwise , dusherra is on docomo mind

I was using GSM services of Tata Docomo in bangalore but had to cancel subscription because of overall poor network strength compared to airtel. I was facing call drops. This was in late 2009. Now i heard things have improved. I believe Tata docomo is the only company because of which other operators are forced to bring down call rates :wewin:. Otherwise these airtel & vodafone guys would still be charging ~1rs per minute :rofl:
