i think you are on tata indicom wireless connection and he is on their ethernet based connection. both are totally different

I applied for a TI connection hoping I would get 1mbps. Well I ended up getting 512kbps UL (1850/- 1:8). CC said 1mbps is available with Tata/VSNL tie up connections. I wonder what he meant.Heh, he even told me 1mbps UL would cost me 22,000/-. I'm like don't you think its way too much for a home user?lol
