If Tata Sky can find a way to show the FTA channels using the STB without using their transponders, it will get space for more channels. Sky, UK allows viewing of about 200 FTA channels with its STB, even when not subscribed to sky. Free advice for tatasky.

This will happen some time in the future where the competition heats up

its possible using two dish and merging signal or specially designed dish which can catch signals from 2 satellites

So when will they add more channels if they have all this space?
Ask Tata Sky CEO. He will let you know the full details......:hysterical:.

With so many channels scheduled to be launched by the end of this year , Tata Sky and dish tv are going to have a serious headache. It would be interesting to see how they handle the already missing channels with the release of new channels.

and i am just worried that if CAS doesnt come then my cable op wud hike the rates in the name of new channels.

TSky earlier claimed that they can add 150 channels but they manage to add around 100. Now they claim 200.. in future they might claim 300 .. its useless as long as they don't provide choice to customers. As a matter of fact the number of channels are limited in DTH and hence in terms of getting more channels, hence DTH is a very bad choice.
