Don't worry guys

There is no any thumb rule for the channel count,
Tata Sky can remove lot of its own stuff such as games, additional language options and Radio channels to add more channels,

If that are not possible then Tatasky might go the Dish TV route and increase the compression so that it can add more channels in the cost picture quality.

Further compression technology cannot be used to defer the quality. As far as Dish TV is concerned, more no. of channels are available there b'coz they have more transponders than that of Tata Sky.
